LabLink began in summer 2024, after Michael and Sean shared an internship at a national laboratory.

Sean studies materials science at the University of Colorado Boulder and co-founded LabLink. His 2024 Department of Energy internship strengthened his interest in putting new technologies to practical use.
They wanted more students to have the same chance to explore new paths and gain experience beyond the classroom.
